Kanjanur Village
Good day! I know times are hard at the moment and for this reason we had cut our work back over the last twelve months, however yet again we are appealing for your help, I understand money is tight but help can come in many ways even passing on our appeal and spreading the word will benefit us down the line.
Over the last few months EETEP have been in contact with Kanjanur Village School in India — they need quite a lot of building work doing to provide the best education possible for 220 nursery and primary underprivileged children in Viluppuram district Tamilandu. To list all their needs here would be too much, but a few of the jobs include: a new roof; walls (these need to be built so individual classrooms can be made); toilets; water tanks; and play equipment for the children. We intend to do this project in two parts:
Part One
We estimate a total of £6,500 this will make good the existing school buildings and fit water tanks and toilets, our aim is to fix everything that is on the site at the moment.
Part Two
We will look into expanding the school and constructing play areas within the school grounds. This is going to be a very worthy project I hope we can count on your support. Thank you for reading – Phill Booth (Projects Manager).
Alongside Otto Bock
EETEP have teamed up with both the Landmine Survivors Network Survivor Corps in Bosnia and with Otto Bock, a worldwide company specialising in made to measure prosthetics for people who have lost their limbs. Fortunately, Otto Bock have a branch in Sarajevo delivering professional treatment to their patients–and by maintaining this friendly working relationship we are able to achieve so much more with the little funding we have.
Survivor Corps (together with Melisa Banda of Otto Bock) select the patients most in need from around Bosnia. Melisa then emails a brief story and details of the patient to EETEP along with a price for the work and as we are all working towards the same goal this price is greatly reduced.
